Circle of Hope: A Survivorship Gathering
Location: Burjeel Medical Center – Pendulum Hall
Dr. Dima Abduljabbar participated in the Circle of Hope: A Survivorship Gathering, an inspiring and supportive event dedicated to empowering individuals who have completed their cancer treatment journey. This gathering provided a compassionate space for survivors and their families to reconnect with themselves, their bodies, and their community — embracing life beyond treatment.

The event featured expert-led sessions on mind-body wellness, post-treatment recovery, nutrition, emotional resilience, and intimacy. With guidance from leading healthcare professionals, the program was designed to offer practical tools and uplifting insights for survivors seeking to restore strength, confidence, and holistic health.
Dr. Dima Abduljabbar contributed to the session titled “Strong Bones, Strong You,” where she spoke about the importance of bone health during and after cancer treatment — a critical but often overlooked aspect of survivorship. Her guidance highlighted the long-term impact of certain cancer therapies on bone density, and shared effective strategies for protecting bone strength through nutrition, lifestyle, and medical support.
Throughout the gathering, attendees had the opportunity to engage in thoughtful discussions, explore supportive therapies, and celebrate resilience with others who understand the journey firsthand.
The Circle of Hope stands as a testament to the healing power of community, education, and compassionate care — and reflects Dr. Abduljabbar’s continued commitment to whole-person wellness and patient empowerment beyond clinical treatment.
